10 year Update 😂

So it’s been about 8.5 years since I have posted. So much has changed for Larin and I. We now have 3 kids and a puppy.
Bentley is 8 and just got baptized. She is so beautiful inside and out. Don’t get me wrong though she is sassy and bossy too but does a great job at being the oldest. She is growing so fast and maturing into a wonderful young lady.
Madax is 5 and a pill. Lol. He is such a Strong willed and motivated boy. Madax is so athletica and loves all things sports. He is good at everything he tries. Right now he loves tee ball, soccer and riding his motorcycle. His motorcycle is always being ridden around our house. Larin just recently made him a jump and Madax has been catching some seriously big air (for a 5 year old). He has no fear. We ah e always called Madax our sweet and sour kid. One minute he will be the grouchiest little turd  and the next he is so lovey and so sweet.
Kohen is our youngest and he is 2. Kohen is most definitely the baby. Kohen loves doing everything his older brother and sister do. He is at the stage where he copies exactly what everyone says. It has been pretty funny to hear him say adult things and phrases.  He is very strong willed like his siblings. Kohen has beautiful blonde curly hair and a different color skin than my first two. Bentley and Madax have very dark olive colored skin and kohen has light yellowish color. It’s funny to have such a difference in my three.
Right now Ladin is working on a Cabin in Island Park. He has loved being able to run the project and learn and grow as a contractor. He has worked so hard and they are almost finished.
Currently I am working as a CNA, taking care of a 94 year old women. She is the sweetest lady and and I will be sad when she leaves this earth. I am also helping to run my friends RV business. Let me tell you... that has been a lot of work but fun to meet new people.
We are getting a new puppy here in about a week. Her name is Scout and she is a gooldendoodle. We are excited to bring her home permanently but nervous for training and poop lol.
Anyway, that is some of the things going on in our life right now.

It's a Girl!!!

Now that I am 22 weeks and a little over 5 month pregnant I thought it would be a great time to update my blog! We got to find out on December 22 what we were having. It was a a good appointment but we weren't sure we were going to find out that day. This little one didn't want anyone to see her girl parts (good girl).  After some shaking ad  trying to get her to turn the doc was able to spot them and let us know we are having a girl! we did get a few 3D pictures of her but not a full body one. That kinda makes me sad but it's all good it just awesome getting to see her.

We have a few names picked out that we really like but the one we like most right now is Bentley Marie.  So you never know with Larin and I we might change our minds a few times before she is born.

I can't even explain how excited I am though. I can't wait to meet this little thing inside of me that keeps kicking my bladder ;) I already love her so much. it seems weird to love something so much that I have never met or even seen. I guess I kinda have seen her but I just feel like her and I have this bond already and I know she is going to be a daddy's girl.

She is hopefully going to be here the beginning of May and that is perfect timing for Larin and I. I am just finishing my second to last semester and he will hopefully be getting done with his EMT.
So that's our life right now!

Catch Up

So obviously it has been a really long time since i have been on here.  There are very many things that have happened since march.
1. We moved to Rexburg so i could be closer to school. Which made Larin's drive a little longer but i don't think he minds. (I hope not)
2.  I finished my junior year of college.
3. Spent almost every week of the summer doing something for volleyball
4. Went to California for Father's day and my in-laws homecoming (which was amazing).
5. Went to Six Flags with my brother and sister in law and my hubby of course.
6. Learned how to paddle board.
7. Made some fun crafts for my bathroom and bedroom.
8. Started coaching volleyball.

These are just a few of the exciting things that have happened since march.  If i get motivated enough i might even find some pictures of some of these and post them on here. :)  but Now I am just coaching my JV volleyball team and we should have a really good team this year.  I'm excited to start having games instead of just having practice everyday.  So if anyone wants to watch my team we have a game tomorrow at skyline @ 5 I think ha.

Suprise

A few months ago i asked my in laws if they would come up to surprise Larin for his 24th birthday. And of course they are awesome so they said they could come and my sister in law said she was able to come to.  So for about 2 months i had to keep this secret from Larin.  Almost the hardest things ever cause i was so excited. They flew in about 7 on the 18 so i had to figure out a way to get them to my house and still keep it a secret.  I told Larin that i forgot to get food from the store for dinner so i would be back home a little after he got home.  when i got back from picking up my in laws i called larin and asked him to come outside and help me with the groceries.  He came out and saw everyone and was so surprised.  He still says he had no idea which makes me so happy.  That weekend we went shooting swimming and went to dinner.  we had a great time and were super excited they were able to come from Cali to spend the weekend in freezing Idaho.

Best husband ever

I know this is late but i just found the pictures on my camera.  this year was our first valentines together.  I'm going to have to say it was the greatest one i have had so far. ;) I had a volleyball game that night so we were planning on having a late reservation a famous daves. When i got home this is what i found

21st Birthday!!!

So yesterday was my 21st birthday.  It was the best day. Larin came home from work Tuesday night and took me to the Shilo Inn.  Our room was so amazing.  it was huge and we had a great view of the temple and the falls.  After we checked in he took me to dinner at applebees.  So the next morning Larin went to action motor sports and got us a sled to ride for the day and he let me sleep in.  When he got back and i was ready we headed up to Rexburg to pick up Jordan and Krystal. we took the sleds up to Mesa falls and rode clear to Island Park.  Such a fun a beautiful ride.  I very much wish i would have remembered my camera because i would have loved to take pics.  Our ride took about 5 hours and then we headed back to Rexburg for cake and ice cream.  It was pretty much the greatest day ever.  The only thing that would have made it better would have been having my whole family there.  But i decided i have the best husband ever who spoils me rotten.

Apple Sauce Day

Today we are at my grandparents.  Grandpa, Larin and Kade are out fixing the correll and grandma, kasey and i are inside making apple sauce and apple butter.  Pretty great and at least we are inside all warm.

The WEEKEND!!

My family is here this weekend and so far it's been so fun.  While i was studying for a test all day yesterday they went shopping. After i was done we met and went to pizza hut and mandi's boyfriends football game. Which by the way was pretty cold.  After the football game we all came back to Krystals and had a sleepover.  What a fun day!! (oh and p.s. dad and jordan were not here cause they were fishing all day)

Larin said that i should put some of our wedding pics on here so i'm going to try.

DAY 2

So this isn't all i've eaten today but it's the only thing that i could really show at this point in time. I already ate the rest of the stuff (hehe).

But pretty much i love Thursdays. I don't have class today so i just get to lounge around all day in my sweats (or Larins) so until about 5 you will probably find me on my couch. :)  

Swimming at Green Canyon

So last night Jordan was hunting so we decided to take Kolbin swiming at green canyon. He was so fun.  But every time he went under he would leave his mouth open and sometimes his eyes.  We all just laughed and laughed at him. I think he had a good time though and really wore himself out.  I know everyone else was super tired and we all slept great!

*DAY ONE*

Today was awesome!! We didn't have to wake up till like 9 because we went to my brothers ward at 11.  Also this weekend my mom and sister were here to visit.  We had so much fun with them here.  But that is why we went to Jordan's ward.  After church we went back to his apartment and we started cooking dinner.  We had these sandwich type things that were so yummy (if you go onto My sister-in-law's blog you can find them) but cooking was just fun. After we ate we took a quick nap while the boys were watching the football game.  When we woke up my mother decided it was time for her to get back to Wyoming.  So we all said our goodbyes to Jordan Krystal and Kolbin and we headed back to Idaho Falls.  We got home and helped my mom get all her stuff packed up and back on the road.  I really wish that they still lived close because it is hard for them to leave.  But it is always fun to see them again. and now i am going to be doing homework and Larin is painting pumpkins. :)

So pretty much that has been my Sunday!!!

Hi. So this is my very first blog and i'm just getting into it.  I've heard from everyone that it is so fun. My sister-in-law gets all of these fun ideas from blogs. 
So anyway. I"m Kara Bounds. I am married to Larin Bounds. We have only been married for about 2 months and i love still being in the honeymoon phase!  
Larin and i met up at BYU-Idaho. I know i know so does every other LDS couple that goes there. :)  He and i were in the same volleyball class with coach reeves.  At first we were just friends but then we started spending more and more time together.  About 2 months after hanging out we knew we could deny that we liked each other.  He went back to California after the summer semester for about 9 months. So at least once every other month he would come and see me or i would go and see him. (yes that was very expensive).  By April we were engaged. Instead of staying in Cali he moved back here to Idaho to be with me and help out with the wedding plans.  We were married July 31, 2010, in the Newport Beach Temple.  

Right now we are living in Idaho Falls. Let's just say Idaho isn't the place Larin would have thought he would be.  He loves to surf and just be in the ocean. (hopefully someday i can convince him idaho isn't that bad.) :)  But for me i haven't really lived anywhere else so this is home. 
Larin is working at Qwest right now and he is doing very well. He is a very good talker and very good with people.  (i guess some lady he talked to wanted him to come to Arizona and marry her daughter.) needless to say he is very likeable.
I am the JV coach for Bonneville Volleyball. It has been such a great job and something that i want to continue doing.  I really have fun with the girls and seeing them grow as players and as girls.Tonight is our last games so hopefully we can end with a few wins.  
So pretty much this is my first official blog and i think it's going to be awesome!!!
